Starting my career in marketing and data analyst seemed like a match made in heaven at first given my degree in Marketing & Management and in Digital Data strategy. However, I immediately recognised the lack of spark it presented in me. I yearned to learn more, yearned to learn something different.
And that's when it happened; the spark I was missing ignited the instant I started studying Web-development.
I felt like I landed on a gold mine and saw the need to combine my knowledge of people and systems with my desire for problem-solving. I enjoy applying human-centered design and design thinking principles to create innovative solutions and business models geared towards growth.
I am very much a big-picture thinker and enjoy working with products from the beginning to end, from ideation all the way to development. You will find me observing how people meet their daily needs, obsessing over changing consumer sentiments, combining data with design and analysing disruptive business models in a bid to create ventures with a positive impact on people, organisations, and society at large.
